I work very late on 2 nights of the week, but try to get back for bath and bedtime.... but, I try to make sure I'm home for dinner on the other two nights of the week and Friday... that's my super early day where me, my mum and the kids go shopping together and my wife has a break for a little while. The weekends, that's purely for going out with the kids. Life has to be a balance and, as I see it, when you have kids, you should make time for them.. they have to come first. As for the fact that you've been home all day, it's a selfish attitude for him to come home and then deal with his own stuff and expect everything to just be done in the house without a finger being lifted. That's lame... very lame. I have friends like that, who complain how tired they are after working and just need some peace. I find that pretty shitty because I know that looking after kids is tougher than being in an office environment. Having said that, I spent the last 3 weeks off sick and was with the kids at home. I loved it so much that I didn't want to go back! I love being with my kids, they're brilliant! Hope things improve and your husband understands about your needs, your kid's needs and how to balance things out. Good luck!greysqrlhttp://greysqrl.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.com
